Our veterinary team focuses on prevention, early detection, and treatment of dental disease to help your pet live a healthier, more comfortable life.
WHAT IS PET DENTAL CARE?
Pet dental care includes routine exams, professional cleanings, and treatment of dental disease. Over time, plaque and tartar build up on your pet’s teeth, which can lead to gum disease, infection, and even damage to internal organs if left untreated.
Professional dental care helps remove this buildup and keeps your pet’s mouth healthy.
SIGNS YOUR PET MAY NEED DENTAL CARE
Your pet may need dental care if you notice:
• Bad breath
• Yellow or brown buildup on teeth
• Red or swollen gums
• Difficulty eating or chewing
• Drooling or pawing at the mouth
Dental disease is extremely common, and many pets show subtle signs.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A DENTAL VISIT
During your pet’s dental visit, you can expect:
- A full oral exam. (If you are a new client, or an existing client who has not had an exam in over a year, we will need to schedule this exam, so our doctor can assess if there is existing dental disease, if extractions may be required, etc.)
- Safe anesthesia with monitoring.
- Treatment recommendations, including extractions if necessary.
- Professional cleaning (scaling & polishing).
- Although not required, we highly advise you request bloodwork and IV fluids for your pet, especially if they are older. (We will discuss this option during your appointment booking call).
We take every step to ensure your pet’s safety and comfort.
